Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts Operations

Purpose of the Job:

Lead end-to-end delivery of Non-Profit accounting engagements, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, audit readiness, and client satisfaction

Qualification:

Years of experience- 9–12  (Non-CA); 5–8 years (CA)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strong experience in Non-Profit (NFP) accounting and grant accounting (Preferred)
2. Solid knowledge of ASC 958 (US GAAP)
3. Strong understanding of grant accounting, compliance, and indirect cost allocation
4. Hands-on experience in month-end/year-end close, financial statement preparation, and disclosures review
5. Expertise in revenue recognition (conditional vs. unconditional, exchange transactions, deferred revenue)
6. Experience supporting audits, including Single Audits and audit readiness activities
7. Strong technical accounting review and problem-solving capability
8. Experience in mentoring team members and supporting capability development
9. Client interaction experience with U.S. stakeholders for reporting and audit discussions
10. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Additional Preferences (SM):

1. CA/CPA preferred
2. Hands-on NFP exposure in delivery and review roles
3. Experience in BPO/out-sourced accounting environments
