Solutions Consultant – Presales

Purpose of the Job:

Analyze IT Infrastructure Services requirements for customers and design appropriate, cost-effective services/solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solutions/Service Design dealing with all components of an IT Infrastructure, Transition & Transformation (Technology & Services)
  2. Evaluate, recommend, architect, and implement Services solutions to enhance the IT Infrastructure Services.
  3. Build solution documents, effort estimates & pricing.
  4. Participate and team up with sales, delivery, and Partner Managers to provide complete customer solutions.
  5. Responsible for building and proposing transformational services to customers, identifying triggers, Identifying key IT Infrastructure issues that impact the business, and making customer recommendations.
  6. Build and develop the business case, provide relevant and sound business and technical advice to the customer, and present the same to various stakeholders within the company.
  7. Map competition and develop appropriate winning sales strategies, often in conjunction with Partners.
  8. Assist the sales group with (RFX) requests for quotes, information, bids, proposals, and statements of work.
  9. Create, maintain, and publish written procedures and best practices for delivering pre- and post-sales services to customers.
  10. Present technical briefings to executives.
  11. Work with Business Development Managers, Account Executives, and other individuals within the sales group to maximize revenue potential by equipping them with relevant material (RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, Solutions, Pricing, etc.).
  12. Support customer acquisition, conversion, and retention targets
